Dumb question about covers

I wanna make a song cover for City Lights which is originally sung by Rin in Japanese. What do I do about the shorter notes though? Since I typed good morning and it goes into the smaller note and then you can’t hear certain parts of ‘ing’ what can I do for this?

Hmm, so you're making an english version of the cover?
Are you talking about when some notes at the end of others are so small they just show up as dots if you're zoomed out enough?
Like this?

What I do is just delete the smaller note and drag the first note out, so now it's like

So when you type in your word, the second syllable won't get lost in such a short note.

Sorry if this isn't what you meant and I interpreted the question wrong.

For small notes (like 1/64) you can just do a [ - xx ] xx being ending vowel or consonant. So I think it would be like [ n I ] [ - N ] or whatever it is for morning. :kyo_ani_lili:
Can even work for beginning notes too. [ S @U ] [ - ]
