We officially released
"Hatsune Miku V6" on April 14th, 2026 (Tuesday) ! In this article, we will deliver the new information that has been revealed to coincide with the release.
In Hatsune Miku V6, we initially announced and offered an early access version of the "Original" voice bank as a variation, but the official release version now includes a new voice bank called "Soft"!
Compared to "Original," the "Soft" voice bank offers a gentler, more soaring vocal style, making it ideal for situations where a more restrained expression is required. It can be used not only in ballad-style songs but also in supporting the melody in harmony parts, further expanding the range of expression.
This time, we've released three demonstration videos in total: lyric videos featuring Hatsune Miku V6 singing the official demo songs " Hoshi no Kakera " and " POPS " from "VOCALOID2 Hatsune Miku" using both the English and Japanese voice banks, and a compilation video featuring demo phrases from eight creators !
First, here are the Japanese versions of "Hoshi no Kakera" and "POPS" by Hatsune Miku V6. The vocal tuning was handled by Bibi , who also worked on vocal editing for Hatsune Miku "Magical Mirai 2025" theme song, "Lustrous"!
