also Kimetsu no Yaiba (it has good anime too), and if you like games, the Project Zero/Fatal Frame series is a must (the original games are on PS2/Xbox, then Wii and there are remasters on PC/Xbox/PS4/Switch)

asobi asobase, shin sekai yori (dark but not about ghosts), episode 6 of Full Metal Panic Fumoffu (anime, not sure if they made manga of it) , Episode 13 Little Witch Academica (chapter 14), Erased (I'm sorry, I don't really have wide selection of dark manga).
Is there a manga or anime about the Tsuyama massacre?

to your eternity is a masterpiece. its the kind of story where anything i tell you is a spoiler, you kind of just have to go in on faith. it's a feelsy kind of story written by yoshitoki ooima (a silent voice). not exactly scary, but does get pretty dark at times.

I recommend Blood On The Tracks. There isn't really anything paranormal about it, but it is pretty terrifying. It is especially dark, like psychological horror. I think this is actually the most terrifying thing I've ever read, besides 2b1f.
