[RIN Original+] A lively and positive singing voice that is characteristic of Kagamine Rin, optimized for the new engine.
[RIN Whisper+] A sweet and dreamy sighing voice that is optimized for the new engine.
[LEN Original+] A dignified and crisp singing voice that is characteristic of Kagamine Len, optimized for the new engine.
[LEN Whisper+] A fleeting and sad sighing voice that is optimized for the new engine.

Both are high-quality voice libraries created using newly developed resynthesis technology, and all voice fragments have been adjusted to prevent distortion or breakdown in pronunciation. In addition, multi-sample points and pronunciation have been adjusted, and the "Voice Color" parameter, which determines the tone of the voice, such as its strength and softness, can also be adjusted to suit the user's preference.

Furthermore, by combining various voice effects such as "Vocal Morphing," "Voice Drive," "Voice Voltage," and "Super Formant Shifter," you can produce a wide range of singing voices. You can create not only the powerful and cute singing voice that is characteristic of "Kagamine Rin/Len," but also a variety of singing voices, from languid and sad tones to expressions that mix these together according to the flow of the song, to robotic, timbral voices, angry voices, raspy voices, and death metal voices.

"Vocal Morphing"
is a function that combines two voice libraries with different expressions to generate a wider variety of vocal expressions, temporal changes in the voice, and richer singing voices.

"Voice Drive"
is an effect that controls the trembling components of the voice and adjusts the momentum and texture of the voice. Application presets can also be used to create raspy voices and death metal vocals.

"Voice Voltage"
is an effect that controls the firmness and strength of the voice, creating dynamic vocal intonation.

"Super Formant Shifter"
is an effect that intelligently changes the voice quality while preserving the individuality of the original voice. It can be used to make the voice sound more feminine or voiced in a short voice within a practical range.

"Kagamine Rin & Len NT" comes with the vocal editor "Piapro Studio NT2," which supports both plug-ins (VST3, Audio Units) and standalone operation, as well as the DAW software "Cubase LE," which allows for full-scale music production. So, you can start creating music (DTM) on your computer right after purchasing "Kagamine Rin & Len NT." Have fun making music with "Kagamine Rin" and "Kagamine Len"!

for starters, i've seen a few ppl think they're like rollerblade-type shoes, but i think they're more like those.. nike shoes with the air bubbles at the bottom
second of all, i'm really REALLY glad that NT is continuing this trend of giving the piaproloids a hugely different feel to them rather than just being a 'new design' - not that v2 > v4x wasn't a redesign, but this is a lovely new sorta vibe for them and even for the crypton vsingers in general
thirdly... i *really* really like them. i don't know how or why, and i'm genuinely confused by this, but rin and len somehow work and sounds a lot better on this engine right out the gate compared to how miku has sounded on there for six years. this is the most excited i've been for a crypton release in a while (even including v6), and i fear i'll have to cop them day one.

I'm surprised at how good Rin and Len sound in NT! I'm starting to wonder if NT is a synth that processes sharper, more powerful voices the best compared to softer tones (think of how UTAU works), so the Kagamines came out good while Miku is still struggling a bit, even in NT2.

Yeah, they sound very good in NT. Hopefully Proseka starts using these voicebanks instead of the ones they've been using.

Although I do not want to comment further about voice quality and so on since not enough demo for me to judge, I am really looking forward to the Kagamine Rin Len NT's future voicebank demonstrations since their character voices are the ones that have left the biggest impact in my heart compared to the rest of Cryptonloids.

I have to admit that I think Len's hair looks kind of atrocious, but otherwise I think the new designs are cute. The hoodie thing with the shirts is a fun way to change it up without making them too "different", and Rin's bow and new tiny matching ponytail are adorable. I love that they're holding hands. And TBH, I think their NT sample sounds good! These two were always the better sounding of the non-Miku NTs. I am dubious of Meiko, Luka, and Kaito still, but I bet the Kagamines will see success

I'm still not convinced enough to buy Piapro banks, but Miku and now the Kagamines continue to have some of the most aesthetic boxes. Almost makes me want to get them just for looks LOL

I can feel that the Rin Len NT’s character designs are intended to convey a somewhat refreshing, energetic, sporty, and cheerful feel compared to previous voicebank character's designs, which is something that I adore so much.

But then if I want to compare the following two images:

I prefer the first one more because they look more alive. I am not sure why but I feel like the second one looks like both of them (especially Len) felt a bit tired after a long day of photoshoot session.

Huh, I wonder if one of those has an error? Rin has the 02 on her arm in one but not the other

ohh that's interesting, I didn't notice at first! Looking better, the missing 02 is both on the official art (with Len) and the costume concept art, so probably is something iXima felt to (not) draw, maybe to give a girlish look and also because Len is wearing a hoodie

Another thing that I noticed is that both Rin and Len NT’s outfits have a zip-like structure on their back, which could serve as a sailor collar when unzipped, or a hood when zipped. This feels so creative to me, and if the company plans to sell the long-sleeve hoodie with the zip on the hood itself, I might really want to purchase it.

Yes, and if you compare, Rin's is zipped up in one of the official arts and unzipped in the other. It's a cute detail, kinda showing how they can both do hoodie or sailor look. I kind of love it
