Vocaloid4Editor isn’t allowing me to add notes?

Let’s say I go to C4, not letting me do it. Or G2, not letting me do it. Can someone help?

It’s not letting me draw a note and this isn’t for a melody or anything

Make sure Quantize and Length are set (I usually had them set to 1/16 by default when I used V4), and make sure you click and drag rather than double-click. (When I go back and work with V2, I keep double-clicking expecting something to happen like in Piapro or SynthV. )

Does the Vocaloid 4 Editor use regions, like Piapro or Vocaloid 5 do? I still sometimes forget to draw a region to add my notes into.

I think V4 does use regions, but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong since I don’t use it much and my memory is probably foggy, ahaha!

Ah, it does! I thought I remembered V4 looking darker if a region hadn't been drawn in though, so I assumed they'd already drawn one in... still, it's worth making sure that's the case!
