Darn, was really hoping there'd be one closer to my city. The San Jose ones only an hour flight away but I really try to avoid flying as much as I can, and it's a 9 hour drive. Sheesh.
Still, might see if I can nab a ticket and go with my friend. I've always wanted to go to Miku Expo.

I doubt these are the final dates. I mean why would they book Boston & NJ shows without booking one in New York City?

Edit- I just realized how close the NJ show is to NYC haha

True! I hope they arent because the next best one for me would be Chicago because I live in Michigan half the time and Chicago is only a few days off from when I finish my semester. I'd have to miss about a week of school to go to San Jose. :/
So if they could just....push Chicago back a few days....thatd be neato. Or San Jose by two days so it'd align with my spring break
It's frustrating how close these dates are to not interfering with school but then they just barely do asdfg

There's a Dallas show! My brother lives about an hour and a half from Dallas, and I live about four hours from him. I definitely wanna see if I can grab a ticket!

Here's where the current dates listed on the MikuExpo site land

There's a 10 day gap between the Vancouver and San Jose shows and a six day gap between the San Jose and Dallas shows.

The Boston to Chicago route looks a bit weird. It would not surprise me to see a Detroit, Cleveland or Buffalo/Darien Center show added along the way. Looking closer at the map they could make a detour through Nashville on the way to DC also.

Trust me, there will be more added shows.

I missed the one last year and this year, so looks like I have a chance to redeem myself! Hooray!

I ought to go print off business cards! :D

Since I'm lived in Long Beach, the closest area to go to Miku Expo is San Jose Civic, which is literally take around 7 hours to go there by a bus and then walking.

MIKU'S COMING BACK TO DC!! I was really worried she wouldn't since I think DC was one of the few shows that didn't sell out last time, but she's really coming back aaaa

@Caize VIP tickets last time were $155. I think the regular tickets were around $50?

What are the perks of getting a VIP ticket instead of a regular?
Early entrance into the venue, and you get some exclusive merch. I got a tote bag, a towel, and a fan (which was a godsend since it was summer and I was burning up, but any other time I would've just been "ok" about it, aha). Also you get a lanyard+pass that says VIP on it I think? I might be misremembering, but that was about it.

Do VIP tickets get you closer to the stage too? Are seats assigned, or are they first-come first-serve? I'd love to get close enough that Miku doesn't look like a moving speck of light, but I invited a friend to go with me and I can't really spend $300 on tickets again. (I did that the last two times I saw Iron Maiden and got a temporary ban on going to concerts for it. :yohioloid_lili: )

I'm unsure how seats work, since the venue at DC last time had no seats and we all were standing, aha. Getting in first generally did get you closer to the stage in that case, though.

DC's venue this time does have seats, so I guess I'll find out soon too. I'm guessing you do have to pay more for better seats.

I went to the DC one in 2018 and it was kind of a mess imo. Not sure if I'm willing to go again, LOL. At least in that location.

edit: I'm blind apparently, turns out it's gonna be at a different venue from last time. Decisions, decisions...

Hmm, I see. I dont know if its worth the major increase in price imo but exclusive merch is always fun.

I'm also curious to know if VIP gets you better seats. I saw some footage of the concert from 2018 that had VIP in the title, and judging from the video, it was at a good spot close to the stage, I think...

While I don't know if they guarantee better spots, Rylitah did say you get early access which in turn means you get first choice of where you stand/sit.
