It's official !
I never thought that would happen given she got Cevio exclusivity for so long and didn't get new vocaloid banks since Vocaloid 3.
It seems like VOCALOID 6 is getting back the popular voices that it lost

Personally VERY happy about this and how she sounds! While I love her Cevio/Voisona 2.0 banks and how close they are to Lia, it was a bit of a departure from how she sounded before. This is a LOT closer to her V3 voice that most knew her for. Feels like a perfect blend of her V3 bank with her Cevio AI 1.0 voice.
Really cannot wait to hear more of her. My biggest hope right now is that they get Akasaka Aka back to illustrate her box art

Yes, that would be awesome! I've seen a lot of good usage of V3 "Engrish," and I would love to see the potential that native English support could offer!Also IA having English & Chinese cross-language support is awesome
Fingers crossed IA V6 English via cross-lang will sound much more accurate, smoother and understandable compared to IA CeVIO. I've heard some good songs with IA CeVIO English, but CeVIO's engine noise was always present and it could still get grating sometimes.
It's also nice to think that at some point, Miku, Gumi and IA will be on the same engine version again.

This is crazy because a few days ago I was thinking to myself "remember 10 years ago when IA was everywhere" and now she's coming back to Vocaloid. I guess that was my intuition giving me a sign.

IA V6 thoughts: I wasn't impressed by the demo, sadly. It sounds like a step down, not just from her 2.0 CeVIO, but from her original V3 voicebank. While it's nice she'll get access to some new AI features, her audio quality sounds significantly degraded, with some of the worst artifacting I've heard on V6. It feels like 1st Place has been reusing those old Lia samples like a repeatedly compressed jpeg, making IA fuzzier and fuzzier. But, since it's still in alpha, it is possible they'll clean it up somewhat, so fingers crossed.
