I was a bit confused yesterday as well, but from what I've seen the whole shitstorm stems from her defending Haru.jpg who openly talked about liking artwork of underage looking characters (sh*ta, l*li). People then looked through her old tweets and found tons of stuff in which she talks about liking the exact same kinda stuff, plus her saying racist things (?) and people also brought the Vocamerica controversies back up. You know, the typical.

Vocamerica thing is very famous in my community but i don't know exactly what happens, it's really that bad?

I wasn't there when Vocamerica happened but it appears to have been 'something something the staff held a crowdfund and embezzled the money'
Or at least that it had a lot of empty promises and then disappeared

I was also wondering… and hadn’t heard these names in years, so I did some research…

The posts online right now are saying the organizer stole 20k USD. There is some information online shared about a partial financial distribution of kickstarter sales. At least 12k of that is accounted for according to the organizer and she claims closer to 15k entered her possession after kickstarter fees and tax. None of that is supplemented with receipts which isn’t the best but it looks like it tracks with what was actually distributed and what appeared at concerts. She claims the remainder was spent on miscellaneous technical expenses and paying artists, and much was paid out of pocket.

The main problem I remember had to do with kickstarter stretch goals. They promised a new vocalist with new songs for effectively every 1000 dollars after the first stretch goal. These vocalists did not appear as far as I know. I don’t know how the team thought this would be possible. 3D character models are expensive, choreography is expensive, animation is expensive… not to mention I have no idea if they were planning to pay licensing fees to PowerFX for the use of their characters. It seems that some of these were eventually fulfilled, but not all.

The remainder of the complaints seem quality related— MMD model clipping stuff, bad sound engineering… that kind of thing. Also that they broke ties with a modeler on the project that broke MMD model ToSes by reusing model meshes I think. I don’t know the full context on that.
