I remember hearing that at least V2 is CVVC. Not sure about V3 and V4 since allegedly Gahata Meiji was a reference to create Megurine Luka V4x.

I only use VCV voicebanks because that all i know about them, but i start working with CVVC voicebanks recently and it actually feel similar to vocaloid, i'm not sure about it until i start do some note blending and all basic tuning. The transition between vowels to vowels and consonants to vowels are very close to vocaloid base on how it sound.

Did luka v4 use meiji as reference? If it true, that might explain why she's has been build around EVEC gimmick.

Though meiji are multipitch VCV with CVVC capability but renri are more complete when it come to recording.

Ah, yeah, I just heard that V3 introduced "triphones" which is probably like a VCV-esque feature

v1-2 is pretty comparable to CVVC. because of them being diphonic synthesizers i think? and then v3 added triphones so it became more like VCV. but with how theyre recorded it doesnt seem exactly comparable to how a VCV bank would be recorded and i think its a little more specific than that but probably the closest comparison

(i feel like i remember someone ages ago saying v3-4 was like VCVVC??? but idk if thats true or how thatd work lol)
