I don't think it's a warp perspective when you compare it to other sample instruments libraries they usually range from 100- 200$ so it's not that crazy it's just a little weird when you compare it to other vocal synths synths but if you compare it to say zero g it's kinda crazy when Avanna is around 50$ but you do have to buy the vocaloid editor so that's another 100$

You could theoretically just use the tiny V3 that comes w her:o

@Prism uhhh putting it that way still doesnt make emvoice look any better imo... you get avanna for $50 and the editor for $100 and its still cheaper, and a much better deal as in the long run you will probably always be able to get good vocaloid banks for less than what emvoice is selling, and emvoice's collection of banks is incredibly small. buying Vocaloid 5's bundle is by far a much better deal than emvoice is. additionally the problem with emvoice is it still lacks some tools commonly found in vocal synths/daws in general, that make it a hassle to use for many who expect such features. also, once you have a vocaloid editor, you have the ability to buy more, cheaper, voices. but instead over here, emvoice is selling every voice they have for a full on $200, which is very obviously ridiculous. you'd have two voices for $400, with a product that still lacks the things it promised early on. start adding that up in comparison to the loads of vocaloid banks available for (far) under $100 and yeah...no, thats way too much money.

the creator has shown much disdain for vocaloid in the past, which is where my implication of 'warped' comes from. hes voiced in articles before that he doesnt like vocaloid and somehow thinks his product trumps vocaloid by far.

This whole time I thought the voices came with EmVoice once you purchased it, as a deal of some sort for paying so much. Now that I know they sell them individually for 200$, I cannot stop laughing :clara_ani_lili: I think the only vocaloid that is currently that close to that price(and is not in a bundle with appends) is Sachiko, who is around 190 I believe due to how famous her VP is in Japan(I believe the same thing happened to Gackpo when he first released)

@Stardust oh yeah if you got the vst/engine plus its voices that wouldnt be too bad (tho no great considering all they had for a while was one voice). i thought this too and was thinking i was mistaken, thought maybe Jay would come with Lucy for $200 total.... yeah, no lol. at least Sachiko has a reason for being pricier-- even if her vp means nothing to western producers... thats why it shocks me the Emvoice has their voices priced so high!! its so unnecessary.
