Yeah if you've interacted with the Chinese community, this has been an ongoing "it's coming" momentum that just increasingly became more popular with every ACE update. No word on if she'll be free or not, but I think this is likely to shelve her V5 voicebanks. It's been 4 years, they would've released them already (especially since a beta was already put out) if they wanted to. I think SHN was just holding out for some alternative to release that they felt comfortable with and ACE proved to be that girl for them.

It is weird... Then again I don't know how it is IRL if those who change name adopt one that is closer in pronunciation or a completely different one but honestly, I would have rather expected those :


- Li Yuan = Linett / Luan / Leith
- Huo Lian = Violaine / Vesta
- Que He = Terrance / Trevor / Sparrow / Deneb / Cosmos

I thought they were cross synthesis vocals cause ACE posted a video about them in a contest recently, but afaik these vocals aren't... that? I can't install the app on my phone to double check but either way hoorah! more masc vocals
