The TV screen in itself isn't bad but the set dressing makes it look awful. Would I prefer the transparent screen for Europe? Hell yeah, it was amazing in 2018. But if they go with the LED please please please let them invest in better lighting and set dressing so it doesn't look... like it does now in the US Tour... it's sad.
That's the main thing bothering about the LED setup - it looks like they had to switch from a projector to the LED screen at the last minute, and they also couldn't adjust the set design to accommodate it properly in time.

This is how I feel about it too, I don’t think there would be near to as much criticism if the screen itself blended with the stage better but from everything I’ve seen it just looks like it breaks the illusion so easily. It looks like it was set up to support the old screen and they couldn’t do much with the LED one.

The fact that the Europe leg only starts in October does give me some hope that they will get it together by then, we’ve got Coachella and a whole Magical Mirai before our leg starts. Despite the silence there’s absolutely no way they don’t know about the fan reception online so far, hope it’s been a learning experience.

My expensive VIP tickets arrived...
- They do not have any illustration on them (the NORMAL ones do!! I also got some for somebody else so I know!!)
- They misspelled Miku Expo. On the official tickets. It says Miko Expo. Great.

I know this probably has NOTHING to do with Crypton etc but in the light of the current controversy this is really annoying. Give it some quality control when you sell tickets this expensive......

Miku Expo EU 2024 is about to start!!!

I won't be there till Germany, attending both Dusseldorf and Berlin. Can't wait, as it will be over 10 years since my first Miku Concert (2014 Miku Expo LA).
I don't know what to expect and how each Expo leg setlist will be differentiate from eachother. It will be fun no matter what.

So excited to continue celebrating Miku Expo into the next year.

Hope everyone has fun throughout the EU tour.

Was at the London show and it was absolutely amazing. My first ever Miku show and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I was bawling my eyes out in the middle of Unknown Mother Goose, both for the song and wowaka but also it just really hit me that I finally made it to a Miku live after 12 years of being a fan. Miku, Vocaloid music & every Vocaloid character carried me hard through High School and have stayed close to my heart ever since so this was a very emotional experience for me hahaha.

The set list changes from NA were really cool too! Having Shinjinrui and Telecaster B Boy as the Kagamine solos were def big highlights for me. Also MELT!!!!! I was singing every lyric along and the energy in the crowd during that song was also insane.
Oh and the LED screen looked REALLY good in person btw, I have no idea if they might have tweaked it from how it’s presented in the NA tour but the screen looked super crisp & hd and it never stood out in a way that you could tell there’s just a screen there (not “immersion breaking” for the lack of a better term lol). Shoutout to the band as well who did an amazing job last night!!!

Count me in for the next tour whenever that happens. Or hell, maybe even next year for Magical Mirai because I am definitely making plans in my head right now 😭

That's how it was in Denver, when I saw it too. It sticks out before the concert, and doesn't look great when you record it with your phone camera. (Projections on glass don't look so hot when they're not professionally recorded either.) It was at least 40% social media blowing things out of proportion, coupled with people expecting what they saw in Magical Mirai BluRay rips on YouTube.

There are definite trade-offs against the way it's usually been done, but the vividness of the colors and sharpness were nice. And I'm sure it makes a lot more sense for a touring event, rather than a few days at familiar venues.
