There was some controversy regarding a submission that was removed from the rankings by the organizers. The song in question:
It's a really cool song, by the way, go give it a listen.
The organizers decided that it cannot participate, because of the 3DS that's present in the MV. This is apparently about "legal problems".

Everyone received more songs compared to last year's Summer Vocacolle!
