The thing about Lumi being done in one take may have been hearsay? But Vocawiki also says her recordings were done entirely for Vocaloid and not borrowed from any other sources, which made me realize that that might not necessarily mean borrowing samples from other voicebanks (though I'm sure that's happened) as much as borrowing samples from other recordings of the voice provider?
For example, in Avanna's case, her VP is a professional singer and I wouldn't be surprised if they took bits from past instances of her singing. In Miku's case many say her updates use samples from past versions as well.

Lumi actually work quite similar to VY1_V4 (comparable to VY1_Natural bank afair). This mean, when she sing low note she's sound soft and when she sing higher note she sound more edgy more powerful. In the case of Lumi is sound more bright, vivid at high note.

Definitely CUL. I think it's a shame barely anyone used her... I thought she had a pretty nice voice.

Thinking about it, probably the V6 starters? 99% of the time I forget that they ever exist, likely because they are almost never talked about or used. But from what I've heard, they're actually pretty high quality, especially for V6 banks. The best use of them I've heard is probably Self Mind Control by EZFG (rest in peace) with Akito.
In terms of SynthV, Mo Xu comes to mind for me. Her voice is beautiful, high quality and extremely versatile, but she doesn't see much use probably due to her status as one of the three SynthV2 starters. She's going up against Mai, a returning favorite from SynthV1 and Liam, a very good masculine voice that's also quite versatile. And add in the fact that her native language is Chinese meaning that most people will almost certainly never use her for her recorded language, and that just creates a loop of unnoticeability,
