I really hope about the miku thing. I've been waiting for a long timeinteresting teaser image! I feel like those artworks could be used for some kind of collaboration goods too, like clearfiles, keychains, t-shirt, .. (and the fact that the event will be at Animate hall.. mm..)

it could be this, but i can't really imagine it's super intentional for vocaloid to have such a stylized sound, at the very least i can see them wanting to be able to compete in the realism category to SOME extent... so, should the voices continue to get upgraded and sound better, what would happen if a VA were to be unhappy with the new direction?
I actually remember seeing an interview of yamaha where they explicitely said they wanted to keep the voices feeling artificial for the producers to not hesitate to get creative with them
That's an understatement. Assuming most of the Teto users were using her Synth V, Nurse Robo Type T was the most commonly used UTAU in the last VocaColle.

If you are talking about the separate V6 voicebanks, it's not a discount or anything special that needs a serial code or something, they are just listed for sale separate from the editor now. You could even buy them if you didn't own V6 at all. (idk why you would do that, but you could)
