Probably going to start the trip at the BWI airport in baltimore, DCA in arlington or IAD in fairfax, then whatever's the cheapest conecting flight across the pacific. Any reccomendations, I can take a ferry there too from wherever.
you can use Skyscanner website to get a very good idea about prices and connections available:
remember that in Japan you can land on 3 airports: Osaka Kansai International, Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita. Most airlines use Tokyo Haneda (which is near the center of the city), and prices can change a lot depending on both the season (summer is usually the most expensive) and the days of the week, with weekdays usually cheaper than weekend ^-^
then you can search hotels from Rakuten and apartment/guest house from Sakura House:

wew, those economy flights are expensive for me, nearly a thousand for a economy flight. That's why I'm thinking of applying for some work visa, back and forth trips are prohibitively expensive. I expected like 300-500 USD maybe. I'll take a cessna trip lol; I know traveling across the pacific is alot of fuel but it seems like a bit much. Maybe I could try connecting flight from Malaysia or something or a boat from taiwan to okinawa then (that's $63!) then 40 dollar flight to honshu. That's just what I could google, probably not very convient and long wait times but that's affordable price for me. I wonder the price of the direct flights are when a natural disaster occurs.

OH MY GOD...this is very personal, but this one classic song on the album...Hajimete no Koi ga owaru toki by Ryo/supercell (when first love ends) means SO SO SO much to me, it was the song that got me into adoring Miku live in 2012 and ever since I have wanted to hear it live. I've been attending Miku concerts since 2014 and...by now I had given up hope. And now it is the ONLY classic song on this years CD. I am so so so happy and can't wait to finally hear it live. I'll cry experiencing it live!! Here we fucking go, can't wait even more for this years Mirai!!! ...yeah, the other songs are also cool :-D

I really wish I could go to Mirai but I don't have a passport and I don't want to travel alone. It's already been a month since Miku Expo and the post-concert depression still hits sometimes.

I'm surprised no one's discussing the setlist (at least what we know so far).

hehe usually we discuss the setlist after the concerts happened ^-^
not only because each concert has a bit of difference in terms of setlist (there are usually 3 daily songs that change), but also because not everybody check the songs list of official album in advance (I'm one of them, I love keeping the surprise(‾◡◝)) :miku_lili: :miku_lili:
post concert nostalgia always hits hard, and that's a good thing, it means you had such a good time! and whenever I have that nostalgia, I like watching some videos of the past concerts, hearing the songs and also seeing the photos I've taken, all important memories(*^-^*)🎁🎈

Band confirmed for Magical Mirai!
Drums: Hayakawa Seiichiro (brand new, different from the last couple of years, kinda sad about Camacho!)
Keyboard: Keiki Uto (also brand new I think, well the last few years had that position change a lot anyway)
Bass: Takaaki Asakura (same as last year, was very cool)
Guitar 1: Takahiro Misawa (still the legend, the same since Mirai 2014)
Guitar 2: Masaru "Angelo" Teramae (the other legend, the same since Mirai 2015)
-> Bit sad none of the members are female. Usually the keyboardists were, or with chloe for base. Nice balance usually. Well, sure they are all great anyway.

On another note, wonder when the theme song will finally be uploaded? Last year it was up already around this time. The album is being released soon and usually it was up with a video weeks before that. Excited to hear Antenna 39, after all!!

Every year I always wonder who will be in the band lineup, more so than songs.

Always happy to see Misawa and "Angelo" return. As it will 10 years since performing with Miku.

Asakura returning, as I expected.

The drummer and the keyboardist, though new to Mirai. This is not their first go around performing with Miku.
Keiki Uto first performed with Miku back in 2019 at the Dive XR festival. Then again in Hatsune Miku Live -Untitled 0-.
Seiichiro Hayakawa performed at the Kagamine exclusive Two You concert and a few Project Sekai concerts.

I knew their names sounded familiar, but I can't remember from where.

Disappointed Nao Nishimura isn't returning this year. She is a lot of fun on stage!

Lastly, ever since Miku Expo 2024 North America. For me, it doesn't matter who is in the band. As long as they bring the energy and emotion to every show.

Thank you for the info on the two "new members". I know much less about the non Mirai, Expo, Mikupa, Kanshasai concerts than the rest, so this was insightful, even if I did watch the Kagamine one, though I didn't notice the drummer.
Thank you!
