KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO, the company behind KAFU, has announced a new CeVIO AI voice named "SEKAI" to be planned for release in Spring 2022, the voice source being Isekaijoucho.

I love her design and Isekaijoucho's voice. Im excited for her!
It makes perfect sense that after the success of Kafu they'd do another vb.
I find it interesting to be in the era of "vtuber-->voice synth" ( with KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and AI voice ), really cool to see both communities interacting like this.
However, Kafu really did leave sour taste in my mouth and even if that weren't the case, I've continually been disappointed in Cevio AI's quality, therefore, I don't see future quality product coming from this project.
But ultimately, I am not the target demographic so if she'll end up being a product the japanese community likes, I'll be happy for them, my only hope is that Kafu was a learning experience and that the communication between the voicer and the company will be clearer this time around.
I'll be sticking around to see said development for my amusement tho ghjk.
But this will def be a confusing name for the voicebank in the long run

Oh shoot, I'm excited. The design looks awesome. After KAFU, I bet they'll have a better handle on this launch. And if the sheer quantity of good songs that came out of KAFU's marketing budget bodes well for this synth too, then... good things might be on the way.
EDIT: I will say, I think much of the reason KAFU has been as successful as she is, is that she *does* have a super unique voice and inflection even before the pitching. If this synth doesn't also have a really unique vocal quality, I doubt it will stand out as much as KAFU does. I do like the VPs voice though and I think it will contrast KAFU's really well if it gets through in CeVIO.

Oh, I like the design already! I'm being cautiously optimistic right now considering what happened with Kafu, but Sekai seems to be more of a separate character from the VP, so hopefully, Kamitsubaki have learned from Kafu.

The vp’s voice is very breathy, which I love. The voice is not as unique as Kaf’s, but I still think that I’m going to like her. Although her design gives me Mayu vibes
I'm all for this. Kafu is already my favourite synth so I'm glad she's been a big enough success for more Kamitsubaki vocalists to be getting Cevio banks. Isekaijoucho's voice is as unique as Kaf's so I'm sure Sekai is gonna be a really good addition to the singing synth world
I think her voice is actually very pretty! I hope her synth turns out with a similar sound!

sekai sounds pretty good. Ofc she has a lot of engine noise so far, but that’s bc she’s not very far in her development
I’m a little surprised by those lows in the demo, the IRL Isekaijoucho has a really interesting range that I don’t think was captured. But it’s still early days so I’m hanging in there. The key art is really nice.
I’m excited about the parameter and it’s exactly how I’d expect them to address a voice like Isekaijoucho’s and the aforementioned problem. She tends to sing low notes and high notes in a really different way, almost like she has two singing voices, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the parameter is sort of an implementation of that. But we’ll have to see!

Huh, looks like CeVio finally found a way to implement the Emotional parameters of the Talk Banks to Singing. This can give a lot more creative customizations.It seems like SEKAI might be coming with a new parameter that can control the Emotion of her voice:

Currently, the CeVio AI talk have like 5 expression. But if I recall Suzuki used to have only 2.
