Prima - female word for "cousin"
- Mico is a kind of small monkey (also used in slang; ele pagou um mico = he paid a mico = he embarrassed himself)
- Rim means "kidney"
- Lápis means "pencil"
- Pico means "peak"
- Cai is a conjugation of the verb cair, which is "to fall" (ele cai fácil = he falls easily)

(Not a character but, Teto and Kaito's ship as "KaiTeto" sounds exactly like "cai teto", which would be like "fall, ceiling".)

DAINA is a dinosaur and everyone knows it.
DEX is also pretty close to Tyrannosaurus Rex. I don't think that's coincidence.
Gackpo could be split off to "gack" and "Po". "Gack" is pretty much a german onomatopoeia of what chicken say and "Po" is a german word for "ass" or "booty". Well...
GUMI is pretty close to "Gummi" which means rubber in german. Or eraser. Or condome.
The first times I've read Big Al as Big Ai and guys, come on, that's adorable.
