    Yeah, I see you're right. It just... feels less active or alive than it used to. Maybe I'm just crazy.

    I think it's more like the forums are pretty dead. Discord is sort of dead (it's really quiet unless you try kind of hard to spark conversation, then everyone starts jabbering). Twitter is extremely active, though (I follow Japanese producers, English producers, people in the fandom like artists and fellow forum members).

    It seems like this is an awkward time period for vocal synths. Companies are starting to dip their toes in voice coating, popularity is shifting between engines, Synth V is starting to take off but has more plans. Maybe people are busy making Deep Vocal characters... that kind of thing. Like, Vocaloid kind of killed itself, but there's a lot to do in the vocal synth fandom (like make stuff, enjoy other people's stuff, and go to concert type events).

    It doesn't help that forums themselves, in general, are dead.

    Like, you can go to forums dedicated to far more important fandoms and get radio static.
    Forums gave way to discord, twitter, and other platforms.

    Anyone know any good, very easy and inexpensive VOCALOID cosplay ideas? I'm probably going to do Just Be Friends Luka, but it's nice to have options.
    I have a Miku, Luka/IA, MEIKO, Cyber Diva (or any blonde VOCALOID, really), Mew (or any black haired VOCALOID) and and a red wig I could use for SF-A2 MIKI. Just for reference.
