chinese itself was already added late to V6, and its implementation is NOT very well regarded, so i feel like (and hope) it's getting added later because they're trying to work around the engine to make it sound the best it can.
We have made you waiting for a long time. Today, we released the Early Access version of "Hatsune Miku V6", optimized for the VOCALOID6 engine.
Both Crypton and Yamaha collaborated to deeply explore the matching of Hatsune Miku unique voice with the VOCALOID6 engine, and after much trial and error, we've reached a point where we've achieved some success.
We hope you'll give this singing voice a try, adding a natural, breathing feel while maintaining Miku's distinctive atmosphere.
We'll be making final adjustments based on feedback from creators and reactions from fans, with the goal of release date in the first half of 2026. We hope you enjoy "Hatsune Miku V6".

PLEASE I need Luka V6. In fact, for Luka, how would they make a V6 bank for her? Would it be like Miku, and trained off her V2 voice (which I think is what's happening, if I'm wrong correct me) or would it be more like Luka V4X with it being trained off Asakawa's natural voice? Same issue for Rin/Len, but I think that they'll probably just use the same method they did for Miku.I really think Luka or Rin&Len are the next for Vocaloid6![]()
If Miku V6 is well-received, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like Gumi Solid and started making append banks, at least. They'll just have to balance that with getting the other Crypton characters onto V6, which is probably a more pressing issue for them. One thing I wish they could do for the final release is find a way to incorporate her Append vocals in this bank.
