    idk why but embedded tweets here are broke for me again but,
    i only followed the twitter to keep up with any announcements, never cared too much for the character side of it but still a little sad to see, mostly if it doesnt continue. i cant tell if the other tweets imply someone new taking over.

    @patuk yeah its a little confusing. but i beleive its basically saying the person who has been running the twitter will no longer be running it. the second one seems to maybe say someone new will take over, but its harder to tell with machine translation.

    gotta say, insulting the voicebank/vocal synth someone uses on a coevr is *still* rude... you 're still indirectly insulting me by saying "___ is so bad but you made them sound better" or "somehow i like this even though i hate ___".

    i cannot tell you how much i get this on my videos... and its so obnoxious. i used that voice obviously because i *like* it so maybe think twice before walking up to me and insulting my choices???

    I’ve always felt pretty mixed about those sort of comments. On one hand, they’re clearly trying to be nice, but at the same time… they’re saying they dislike a VB which you clearly like? I’ve gotten one or two like that, but it makes me feel like I did an extra good job on there tuning if someone enjoyed a VB they usually dislike. Though, I could imagine that those comments would get tiresome if I received them all the time.

    @Kazumimi its always a conflict because i get theyure trying to be nice, but its also annoying/hurtful to see people shitting on a voice i clearly like, when i use it so much :( which is kind of where the problem is for me! i pretty much exclusively use Flower when it comes to vocaloid so to hear (and this was one i got today which made me post this lol) "flower is so screechy when i normally hear her, and im so conflicted on actually liking a cover with her!" or in general "didnt expect to like it cover!" as if it would be bad.... it'd be just the same if people kept the negative angle to themselves and just said "wow i really like this" lol. i feel like it falls in line with "if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all", just say the nice part and leave it at that!

    If you look at it form an other angle. You could take it as meaning that because of how well you tuned Flower you made someone that didn't think much of her like her more and maybe see that she can sound better than they thought. Maybe even make a few fans of her through your work.

    hmmm i have so many folders of potential covers... and i do not know which ones to work on
    the list just keeps growing cuz i get bored and hunt down some random song to cover at midnight and never touch again kdjhgkjdg

    (two of those not in band/subject folders are three days grace djhfkdjfg and also "coin" is just short for an amanda palmer cover)

    No one even cares about Kafu it's hilarious. still is muffled on shorter notes, she's.....not.....horrible...sounds like MQ utau on good resampler, not something worth your money imo. My first instinct is to cover it with someone better.

    @patuk yeah i found it funny i havent even seen this posted yet lol. it sucks because the demos themselves, the songs, sound good. and the way she sings (as in, how the AI seems to work or just generally the tuning) really doesnt seem bad. but whatever the hell they did to her voice...god it just does not sound good. the strange... transitions im hearing from her chipmunky vowels to another sounds weird and she gets very muffled.

    i pitched it down 3 semitones so see itd also again sound a bit better, at least in the way kafu shouldve sounded PITCHホログラム 一二三 feat.可不 its still got those weird issues of course, but it just feels like the voice is asking to be pitched down...

    i love making my covers n stuff and i like that people enjoy them. but with how popular some of them get i really wish viewers would step back and remember this is a hobby and making covers is not a job at all, i do it for fun and i cant just churn out stuff every week because i dont enjoy that. i make a very tiny amount of money off my YT due to what i can or cant monetize so its not work for me. its just a hobby of videos i make with a small chance of getting me a few dollars...

    i do ask for 'requests' but theyre more so suggestions and i dont owe anyone anything lol. if i do them, i do them. if i dont, i dont! i get lots of comments about what i could/should do or change about my sonic utau stuff and like that cool, im aware, but i dont have time or energy to do that. if i have time to fix them up, i will. but its a hobby im trying to enjoy, not put myself on an unpaid work schedule that will make me hate it.

    some things i really do not want "critque" on bc im not coming out here w a masterpiece like i plan to do hard work to get better ya know? i just do it with a chill attitude. i make covers for fun. i just liking hearing robots sing.

    @BlueJ i have covered a wowaka song before! this was a redo of the cover i originally did though im unsure what other wowaka songs i should tackle. i think i did one or two others a couple years ago and theyre on my soundcloud so i'd have to make sure whether or not i did them.

    and ya know im quite sure i did cover kikuo a long time ago when i was first getting into vocaloid cover stuff, its just been so long since i did, i should definitely do something new!

    anyone know why LOLA isn't coming up as activated in my deactivation tool lol? is there a way to do it in registry as i have done with other loids? not sure whats up but i'd like to know just in case i need to deactivate her in the future...

    V1s are just....like that jhgtfr really unpredictable and unstable regarding activation but yeah you should be able to force de/activate her through registry editor, worst case scenario. as legit owner of such old loids that's sometimes your only last option :mikoto_lili:

    @patuk yeah theyve definitely been finicky before so im not shocked... as long as i know i own her legally thats all that matters in the end, even if i have to jump through some not-so-legal hoops to get her working if something goes wrong lol

    it's a loophole on yamaha's end :miku2_move: but it's not one I want being exploited either but you're cool, you're forcing a product you legally own to work....one that should be working in the 1st place...also it's not like you could troubleshoot it through zero-g and/or yamaha either so :/

    i havent been updating V5 much because i just dislike having to install update that way (like, why cant the launcher just install and update it all for you??) but i did hear about what was in this new update and goddamn. i am so relieved. i hope it works as well as i am thinking
