In case you missed it, we had an event on Twitter with a decoded message specifying the language of the voicebank— which is English! Every week at the same time, we will be having one of these events revealing some key information about the project throughout the month. No demos or character reveals just yet, but definitely things that'll keep you interested!

Furthermore, I can now confirm that this English female voicebank will be releasing for Techno-Speech's voice synthesizer, VoiSona! She will be the first native English voice on the software, and I'm really excited for you guys to learn more about the project as time passes. Make sure to keep up with our Twitter for more updates as they happen!

I have always found amusement in these type of things (arg esque) whenever there is English included in the coded message lol (this is not a complaint at all just something that always brings me joy)

Not a full reveal quite yet, but another teaser with more details! In our second to last tweet we did include an acronym that hinted towards the voice provider, but I'm happy to finally reveal that it's Oktavia. If you have any questions feel free to ask, though I may not be able to answer them all, I will at least try~

Selena's first demo will be premiering on the 11th of September, produced by EX-P! (I also felt so heartwarmed seeing it confirmed that this Selena project DOES stem from the old Selena project that I remembered... I was certain, but just happy to see it brought up anyway!) So proud of the whole Chorical team for bringing this to life, and excited to see what other vocals will come in the future thanks to this partnership!

Her voice is very smooth, and her design is so lovely!! I hate to admit that I expected something a little more basic, but actually I was kind of blown away! I'm gonna wait for more uses, but I'm honestly tempted to look into Voisona now, when I was happy to just sort of observe it from afar before

I notice a really strong American accent that honestly makes her kinda reminiscent of older English vocals, which I feel like gives her a unique charm for an AI vocal as most AI vocals seem to aim for a bit more of a neutral "singing accent"
