Yes, you read that right. Miku will be coming to Fortnite Festival for its seventh season.
It starts on January 14th and ends on April 8th.
The Music Pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks, or it can be obtained through Fortnite Crew, Fortnite's members' subscription service.

By obtaining the Music Pass using the methods mentioned, you'll unlock:

The Neko Hatsune Miku outfit (the Fortnite Team also mentions that it has a LEGO style for LEGO experiences).
At the end of the pass is the outfit's Brite Hatsune Miku Style, which is inspired by Brite Bomber and the Fortnite Battle Royale Supply Llama.
(No, I'm not kidding, this is really what Epic Games said).

Her keytar also comes in matching styles. Sadly, only one for the guitar.

Let's do this lol. I already started playing Fortnite earlier in the month and got up to level 200 in anticipation. Kind of wish I'd given it a chance earlier...Zero Build is fun and far more chill than most multiplayer shooter games (kind of a Team Fortress 2 vibe), and the Japan themed map has been cool.

Also, one of the current Crew rewards is a spring onion for your pickaxe slot. The Greenest Onion

The shading on her face is a bit odd up close but I honestly really like the model. I like that they kinda kept it close to the iconic V2 Miku KEI render style wise. Also the pink skin in the Festival Pass is super cute!

I’ve been DYING to have a Miku collab in Fortnite for ages so I couldn’t be happier about this 😭 I’ll be playing the hell out of it when she’s up later today

Still can't stomach Fortnite as an old lady, but I am enjoying reading salty comments from Fortnite fans on Instagram who surprisingly have zero clue about Miku at this point. (Aren't Gen Z and Alpha supposed to be tethered to the internet all the time?)

I'm also surprised how cute the Miku model is, so at least she hasn't been butchered for the sake of the collab.

This user on Twitter edited her facial proportions slightly and made her feel much more familiar; it looks like Fortnite just elongated her features more than usual.

In other news, it's incredible what an instant classic Sawtowne's Magical Cure Loveshot has become! I know Crypton technically owns all the rights, but I hope the producer's getting some kind of kick-back from the absolute bank Epic will inevitably make.

Seeing everyone freak out during Miku Miku BEAM at the Expo was wild. Definitely cool to see it get that big. Sawtowne's been promoting the Fortnite inclusion on BlueSky, so they're at least excited it's there, one way or another.

I may have half of the pass rewards already. (One Miku Victory Royale later.)

I really do think it's mostly just because we're used to more anime proportions on her and Fortnite models are a little more... realistic? Western style cartoony? IDK. Anyway I think she's cute af and it made me install Fortnite to buy her skin, which I hadn't played since I fucked around on my cousin's account like a decade ago. Let's fucking go
