This is not actually recent, the first video was teased 3 months ago. But they added more info and a name as explained on this online article

Voicepeak SEKAI now Officially Released! + More information on Yuki Kaji’s vocal synth revealed!




They still didn't disclose what engine this is, but it's important to know that Technospeech retweeted it on their page, the same company that is part of the Cevio company. My guess is that this might be on Voisona or Cevio AI.

Fun fact for anyone who doesn’t already know, Yuki Kaji was originally going to be the voice actor of CV04! Wat even posted demos on twitter but they’re long gone sadly :(

Since this is a collaboration with Technospeech, I’m assuming he’ll be a Voisona (due to having such a prolific voice actor/provider) if not definitely CeVIO.

It definitely sounds like VoiSona, because I can't hear CeVIO's infamous twang at all. He sounds really promising! Tho it does make me wonder again how he would have sounded like as CV04, either on V2 or V3.

It was a widespread rumour back in the day, but it's never been confirmed by Kaji himself or Crypton. (And considering CV04 can safely be assumed to be vaporware at this point, it's unlikely we'll ever get an answer).

Confirmed to be coming to CeVIO AI, which marks him as the FIRST male CeVIO AI singing voicebank. Crowdfunding starts on the 11th of this month and lasts until May 31st. So exciting!
