SynthV TONE CHROMA from Eclipsed Sounds

Very exciting (so exciting that I finally made an account here)! I'm glad that we also got more explicit confirmation about what they have planned for the individual colors. Specifically, that HXVOC is the "first entry into the red 'CHROMA', focused on aggressive music styles centered in rock and metal genres." Multiple voicebanks dedicated to each genre far exceeds the expectations I initially had for this project (and my expectations were already high!). I'm hoping this means that the violet CHROMA will fill in the many voice types missing from classical/operatic vocal synthesizers.
Also, they mentioned on Bluesky that GALENAIA's first showcase will be posted today.

random thoughts: Back of the shirt "Crater Head" makes it feel like hes wearing one of those band tour shirts... wonder if its a band, and if its one he likes or... part of? I am also wondering if the name Crater Head could reference a disaster in the setting-- a calamity (as mentioned in the forum posts), a crater... a meteor hitting earth would be an expected source of some big destruction, if this is sort of post-apocalypse.

EDIT2: sorry to add MORE but i dont want to double post. didnt notice but, HXVOC and GALENAIA's pages have a bit more lore added to them than when they first had their designs revealed, if you havent checked the pages since, i suggest you do! Also has bios about the voice providers.

Do I know what I'd use her for? Not really, not yet. Based on the demo and a VM for a less operatic sound, I think she'd maybe do well in like, musical theater type songs. So we'll see. I'll figure something out!!
I also love her design. It's very satisfying. She's so pretty. And the lore bits?? Bruh I need to see this beautiful woman team up with chaos man Hxvoc and learn about the hardships and ugliness and utter beauty of the world beyond her staaaage, I'm in love with them both

considering the amount of Stuff on HXVOC's design i didnt realize ES posted an even *more* detailed reference for him... so much stuff! the insight to what his arms are made of it super cool too.

great to hear all the modes by themselves. was pleasantly surprised for Nasal, as NOA Hex has a mode of the same name that i basically used for the same purpose (tho Noa's gets pretty exaggerated higher up lol). his scream mode is crazyyyy and im so excited to try and fit this guy to my favorite songs and subgenres
After all the aggressive examples, the subdued + rap + clear section surprised me with how vulnerable and gentle his voice can become lol. Definitely interested in the contrast it can create with his grittier sound.

Almost tempted to get her for the contemporary modes. By the name alone I wasn't really expecting to like Nasal best but then again, some of my favorite Vocaloids have been described as nasally sounding so I don't know why I was surprised XP

so hype for her. even if it might be a bit obvious in parts that her operatic tone still sticks in her contemporary modes, they still take a lot of it out and i expect we will see some talented uses of her in very different genres due to those modes... Nasal surprised me, she sounded a lot more mature than i expected despite knowing her already lower tone. she may not be as versatile as hxvoc but, the modes that try to take her out of her main genre are greatly appreciated
Love the detail they're giving about their vocal mode usage in this and the previous demonstrations, it's extremely useful and reassuringly transparent.
