Another announcement from their Twitter. Chis-a english will have a physical box AND a perpetual one-time license! (Though I am not sure if this is permanent as it is a special promo.

And a small note, just something I found on youtube. You can make Voisona Talk sing, albiet it's very robotic and you need a 3rd party software? I think.
I'm not sure how this works but may have been used to make Takahashi sing during his last concert. But then that's just a theory.

I find it really odd that two versions of MYK-IV are specifically excluded. Is it because they were labelled as beta versions? I assume that might be why...

i've only tested it on iphone so far, so FAR from ideal, but i mean... it is voisona on mobile devices! i have an ipad that i wanna try it on, i'll probably find it addicting to tune on there compared to squinting and using my finger - but the phone version still works well as cramped as it may feel. i mean, you can tune while sitting on the train or something - i can't say it's bad at all :3

VoiSona has updated to version 1.14.0 as of today!

  • Added an automatic backup feature to the standalone version
  • Changed to allow note input starting from the first measure
  • Changed horizontal zooming to be centered on the playhead
Major Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in the macOS standalone version where keyboard shortcuts were assigned to the Ctrl key instead of the Command key
  • Fixed an issue where vibrato might not be displayed when "Simplified" mode is selected in the vibrato adjustment tab

VoiSona had its third anniversary earlier this week with some exciting news. For starters, VoiSona version 1.16.0 is out, as of September 2nd, which brings cross-language to the platform!

For full update details (including bug fixes, taken from VoiSona's website)
Major Functional Improvements
  • Added support for multi-lingual voice libraries
  • Added "inquiry" to the menu
Major Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where startup would fail on specific Windows environments
  • Fixed an issue where VoiSona Song ARA Plugin could sometimes crash when closing the window
  • Fixed an issue where freezing could fail when using the 10-second trial feature with a score shorter than 10 seconds

  • Fixed an issue where the behavior of “Return to Start Position when Stopped” differed between the button and the keyboard shortcut

Chis-A English is the first voice library to support cross-language synthesis, and it is a free update for all who current owners of the voice library. It allows Chis-A to sing in English (default), Japanese, and Mandarin! You can check out the video below:

Updates for cross-language, much like 2.0 updates, will be rolled out over time. The second voice library to receive cross-language synthesis will be SELENA, using specially recorded data for Japanese language support, coming in late November. You can listen to Chorical's announcement video included in the VoiSona 3rd anniversary livestream here (timestamped), or read our announcement on Twitter (and Bluesky).

I'm looking forward to more cross-language updates for VoiSona, I really want AiSuu and MYK-IV next!
