Since the light sticks on miku merch are sold out, does anyone know where to get a light stick thats allowed (I know some aren't allowed because they're too bright). If not I'll just get glowsticks

Whoop, I was in a hurry and actually wanted to say "Appart from that I don't think it'll be a exact copy of MM" my bad.
Of course it's unlikely but a full setlist of old songs would be a bit... dissapointing? Not like they are bad but more recent hits would be appreciated, especially the ones I mentioned due to the cirmuntances. Either way whatever it is I will be happy with so :')
I don't think just because it's the first time they preform here they should limit themselves, a good balance of old and new would be the best. I'm excited to see what the staff decides~

The best bet is to have an official Miku event lightstick. Finding one to buy means relying on the second hand market. There are surely non-official lightsticks that are allowed, but unfortunately I don't know which ones are a safe bet.

Strange that there's no official merch announced for the Europe tour yet by the way. I would suppose they will sell at least lightsticks?

As for the setlist, I believe it will be mostly relying on the classics. Here are some of my guesses regarding the setlist (I'm not saying I'm sure these songs will be included, but there's a good chance, besides, they can make surprising song choices):

Miku:
-Mahou Mitaina Music (theme song, so it's obvious)
-Melt (I'll be surprised if it's not on the setlist)
-Tell Your World
-Hatsune Miku no Gekishou
-Senbonzakura
-World is Mine
-Satisfaction (since it was on the original Europe tour CM video)
Ghost Rule (please)
Suna no Wakusei (maybe?)

Rin/Len:
One solo song for both and one duet (Rimokon or Rettou Joutou?)

Luka: Luka Luka Night Fever or Double Lariat

Kaito: Attakaito or Doctor=Funk Beat

Meiko: Boukyaku Shinjuu

My guess is merch will probably be announced in November, probably with a European online shop to buy things beforehand. Or perhaps later in the month? If I recall, US had theirs online in May and the list of goods sold at the venue was up not long at all before the concert.

And while we’re making guesses for setlist, I thought I’d join in. Not going to Miku Expo in Europe, but it’s fun to see. I also agree it will most likely be only classics, given that’s more of what Miku Expo seems to be for. I also think because it is the first time in Europe, they might try to stay more high energy.
my guesses are kinda based off of my experences at Miku Expo in the US in 2016/2018

Miku:
- Senbonzakura (played at Miku Expo 2016 and 2018)
- World is Mine (obvious classic, also played at 2016/2018)
- Glow (maybe)
- either Miku or Sharing The World (I think the latter is more likely, maybe in French/German)
- Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru (first song of 2018)
- My guess for encore will be the same as US had: Sand Planet, Tell Your World, Melt

Rin/Len:
- Remote Control (obvious choice)
- 8Hit (if they get a second duet, like thy did in 2018)
- Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder (played in 2016, seems like the “classic” Len song)
- Meltdown (very “classic” Rin song)

Luka:
- Luka Luka Night Fever
If she gets more than one song, the other would ptobably be Just Be Friends, very close in popularity and Double Lariat seems too new to Miku Expo to be played imo

Can’t say anything for Kaito/Meiko bc they are the ones I’ve no knowledge of popular songs and such

If you wish to bring non-official glowsticks, I'm assuming the same rules on chemical glowsticks apply to the European venues as well.

So as long as you bring chemical glowsticks that are 6" and nothing else you should be just fine if you can't get the official glowsticks.

Would love to have some folks just to go get a beer with after the show as I don't know anyone in London.

Ooh, this is really exciting to hear! I love the idea of livestreamed concerts, and I really like getting the chance to see the experience as it’s happening when I can’t go myself.

Wow, the automated translations I was reading really mixed things up for these two. The first article listed Dec. 9 and then Dec. 1 later. The second listed Dec. 29 (probably the day the author got the news tip, actually) and then Dec. 9 consistently later--which it called Wednesday but is actually a Sunday.

Between the two of them and checking a calendar, it looks like the concert is on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 6:45 pm (though I'm not sure whose 6:45 pm that is). So maybe people who have to go to work will get a chance to see it live, too! Mark your calendars!

Not sure, but I guess it's not technically a live stream since it's not broadcasted live?
WOWOW will broadcast the Paris concert on Dec. 9th at 6:45 pm JST. The Paris concert will take place on Dec. 1st.

On the same day (Dec.9th) WOWOW will also broadcast SNOW MIKU LIVE 2018 btw.

Guess December 9 is gonna be a busy day watching Miku! But good information to know. I’m assuming it’s gonna be Japan local time? That’s most logixal to me.

Man so if Paris is getting broadcasted and also getting a special outfit, what is Germany and the UK getting? Haha.

I hope we get a special costume for each show, it'd be a nice thing to make each show feel a little different, especially for those people determined to attend multiple shows.

Paris is also having a LET’S PAINT event.

I’m starting to assume they’re announcing things one venue at a time...because otherwise Paris is getting a lot of special treatment

^ I knew it! The Miku Expo Twitter posted a couple of 'u' Miku teasers previously.

Quote from the Miku Expo website:
  • Number of blank Miku figurines for the workshop is limited to 50 for each workshop location, limit one per customer.
  • Price may vary depending on location, local currency or store rules.
So maybe there will be more locations to come.

I hope they had a similar event for Germany too. I'm not super excited to paint my own figurine since I'm sure I'd mess it up, but the lineart colouring sounds fun too.
...although this sounds a bit harsh:
Miku figurines will be filmed on site, colorings be collected for scanning and will not be returned.

Something interesting for anyone who still searches for the right outfit to wear for Miku Expo Europe:
The winning ForFansByFans contest designs are up! You can buy them now here. These are official merch!
A lot of really cool artists participated (including me haha) so yeah, you should really take a look! There are lots of Magical Miku themed shirts and sweaters.
You can use the code MAGICMIKU until 11/03 @ 11:59 PM PST for 15% off (And you should use that, they cost 25$ oof)

Hopefully the UK and Germany are getting stuff too like Paris
Well London has a VIP tier that Paris didn't have. Then again Paris will probably be the Expo concert that gets a disc release so that kind of evens out so UK/DE should get an extra event too.

A fan meeting is being organized for Miku Expo Europe, hopefully there'll be enough interest to host them! Offkai events are organized by fans for fans and are unofficial. If you're interested, please answer the poll (link in tweet)! More info to come.
