I don't keep up with utau popularity at all so this is a lovely surprise how well she did already! I am also very interested in how the AI vb will turn out just from a technical standpoint like do they train it from tuned songs?

I'm happy this has been such a success - Missile made a comment on how the previous crowdfunds for Rei basically came down to the wire and he's relieved this was funded so quickly in comparison, but Rei's popularity has exploded in recent years and she's genuinely one of the most recognizable synths of today (quick aside: I cosplay at conventions and I'm almost never recognized, but I got stopped so often when I cosplayed Rei at Otakon a few months ago lol).

Super happy for him, and for Rei, and I'm excited to hear the results!
