SynthV AVER for Synthesizer V 2

Bang Dream has announced their next vocalist: Aver!

She's based on the character of Doloris, voiced by Sasaki Rico, illustrated by Yonemuro.

So anyway, I think she has one of the greatest vocal synth character designs of all time.

Although she doesn't have any demos yet, SynthV's close approximation of the voice provider means recordings of Sasaki should give a very good indication:

Anyway. Beautiful design and I like her VP samples too! I skipped out on Halo and Pastel, but maybe if I can swing it when her preorders go up, I might get her

Given Halo and Pastel have trials available, I hope Aver will too eventually. I'm sure I'll like the voice based on VA samples but I kind of want to experiment with the bank before purchase at the same time

Even though I've been watching Ave Mujica MVs nonstop recently, I also thought this design was a guy at first glance funnily enough. I think changing her dress to a cloak was a good choice, since it will help differentiate her silhouette from Rose.

I am very excited that we are getting another voicebank suited for symphonic rock. I think Aver's biggest strength could be her voice provider's ability to switch from a thin, vulnerable sound to a strong and powerful sound.

Fun fact the character she's based on (Uika/Doloris) was stated to be specifically designed to be androgynous so that tracks. :D
(I do think this design gets it across better than the deafult Doloris look)

I love that she looks like a a soulsborne character, it fits the vibe of Ave Mujica. I also love how well she matches Rose in terms of aesthetics (Goth power voice vocalsynth yuri letsgooo)

I am both a bit surprised and not surprised at all at the same time we are getting AveMuji next, not only it would make sense financially to strike the iron while it's hot but also idk if they could convince Ayane Sakura to record a hypotetical Afterglow inspired AI voicebank (plus she's an extremely popular seiyuu so even if she would be completely cool with it idk if they could financially afford all that). On the other hand no Tomori is a bit surprising given how linked together AveMuji and MyGo are narratively but then again the va might not be up for it (which is perfectly fine and valid to be clear.). Or they just decided to stop trying to develop two voicebanks at once cause less work/money, which also would make sense. Pastel and Halo took a whole year so I would not be surprised if they decided to scale down a little.

I didn’t expect Uika’s SV counterpart this soon (before Ave Mujica even being added to Garupa!!!) but god I’m SOOOOOO happy about it. She’s by far my favourite Bandori vocalist. Her voice is absolutely gorgeous like seriously:
