The official Flower twitter account hinted at something big coming next year for her birthday.
Gynoids twitter account just reacted with a "No more" but Flower seems really excited and can't wait to talk more about it.

Maybe a new voicebank? Maybe a figure? Who knows. But whatever it is, I'm excited for next year!

A mechanical translation said "more anniversary days". Unless i'm getting something wrong... "days" not "day".

If it was a regular append or update, it would be celebrated on her normal anniversary day. And vocaloid companies don't typically have anniversaries for merch items or figures either. Maybe it would be a celebration about a concert and/or voicebank being released that's in a different language? I dunno.

The "Translate Tweet" function is absolutely dreadful. Google Translate usually works a bit better than the pathetic one Microsoft has.

@Exemplar Japanese does not differentiate between singular and plurals. You can only know by context. So, for example, something like "hoshi" could be "star" or "stars".

Flower's tweet says:
It's still a secret, but next year my anniversary days might be... multiplying...?
Gynoid replied saying she can't say more than that.

Personally, I think it's either a new voice bank (like a v5 port) or a talk voice (because of "GynoidTalk"). She said it would be a year from now, and the Meikas took slightly over a year to develop. And I think Exemplar's right about Vocaloid companies only celebrating major things like voicebanks or yearly concerts.

Yeah, it being a voicebank or talkbank does make more sense! Just got the idea for the figurine because they talked about that not long ago and how much they'd want that so I thought that that could be a possibility too.

I feel like GynoidTalk is most likely, but could also see a V5 update on the cards for her somehow. I just hope that if they do it they either completely redo her (a la Lily V3/Native) or at least give her some appends.

INTERNET.Co. is selling V4 Starterpacks again!

There also seems to be some confusion because (as far as I understand) when gynoid asked they weren't allowed to/it wasn't possible.

Oh that’s really interesting! I also wouldn’t think V4 would still be sold, though Internet does still sell V3 starter packs I believe? At least I remember seeing them sometime...

Nice to see the option for anyone who still wants V4 for whatever reason ! Though I guess people would have to want Gumi, Gakupo, or Una to get the most of it all

Amano's tweet wonders how Internet Co was able to resell the V4 Editor when Yamaha took all the inventory back and told Gynoid no when they asked if they could have all of the V4 Editor inventory. Amano wonders if Internet Co somehow persuaded them to let them have the editor.

Crazy. I feel like Internet Co somehow took matters into their own hands to basically monopolize all access to the old editor. You know it's obvious they aren't happy with V5 when they're announcing almost a year after V5 that they have the previous generation available for sale. At least that's good news for people not wanting to get through V5's massive pay wall. I assume that Internet Co struck up a deal with Yamaha, maybe it was before Gynoid asked, maybe it was after and Yamaha changed their mind.

I would point out the paywall for those starter packs is basically the same as for V5....
The pricing seems to be just to the big ones like Gumi/Gakupo Complete starters (which are expensive without the editor).

I think Una is even cheaper than she was before? I don’t quite remember since I pre-ordered Una so that was like the last time I saw the price of her. Suppose it may just have to do with her not fully being an Internet Co Vocaloid (as in, they don’t claim her and don’t seem to manage her at all aside voicebank creation/distribution)

Not really, only if you buy the complete packs of either Gumi or Gakupo. But you can still just buy their individual voicebanks with the editor.
I looked up the prices and this is more or less what everything costs:

Gumi complete starter - 33,800円 = 310,35$
Gakupo complete starter - 29,800円 = 273,62$
Una starter or individual Gumi starter - 18,800円 = 172,62$
Individual Gakupo starter - 19,000円 = 174,46$

Even if the complete packs are quite expensive they are still both cheaper than V5 premium with the 8 voicebanks and that's the deal most consider first because they would get a least some vocals they are interested in. And buying 5 of your favorite Vocaloids voicebanks + the editor is still a better deal than buying an editor with 4 vocals you won't use, even if it means you have to save up longer.

Oh and also: Amano talked about the price of a special Una pack but I can't find it anywhere? :'/

@Mika if you mean the starter plus a USB, I don’t think it’s talking about a special Una pack in particular, just how Internet Co sells packs.

The ¥12,800 is the price of Una by herself, from the Internet Co website. And the ¥18,000 of course is the starter, The USB is a thing Internet seems to always try adding to your purchase, at least when I was buying Una off them originally, the USB was just added to my cart as an option.

I tested itbout again, and if you try to add the starter pack to cart, you’ll be the information about the USB Internet tries to include, which js also the page the screenshot in the Tweet is from.

At that point, I wanna say the Cryptonloids would be the better deal, because they're cheaper than the complete starters and come with 4-6 voicebanks, an editor, and a daw.

Either the Crypton V4Xs or V5 Standard is a better deal, unless you really want one internet vocaloid and ONLY one internet vocaloid.

Honestly Una is the best deal in terms of voicebank quality and flexibility but if you don't like her then you're probably better getting a Cryptonloid. If you have the money for Gumi V4 complete it's probably the best multi-vb package a VOCALOID has ever got though. (That said, you can find it for much cheaper if you look second-hand...)

Personally, I agree Una or Cryptonloids are the best deal if you’re looking to get V4.

More so Cryptons because you get the DAW, and for just a little more than Una, you can get a Miku or Kagamine bundle for bilingual voicebanks too. And of course, you can go for Luka, or even Kaito and Meiko for a cheaper full package option.
Una has the benefit of being really high quality at least, compared to Gumi V4 who quite frankly...may as well scavenge for V3 Complete and get Native instead because if you do ever get V5....the total 10 VBs is pointless when they’re mostly an XSY gimmick.

(I'd argue Miku beats Una for quality/flexibility but i can't stand Una so i might be biased.)

I think Gumi V4 Complete actually priced a lot of new producers out- even with XSY, there's too many for most people to make use of, and she's like almost $300 without the starter pack.

Chika and kokone give you more flexibility than one of the Gumi packages (though not all combined obvs) while also being cheaper.

As far as bilinguality goes, Luka V4X is the LEAST pricey bilingual package, and I'd argue she's probably the most beginner friendly of the non native banks (except maybe Fukase), so she'd be my recommendation there for sure.

Gackpo is also really expensive, but considering how much GACKT costs to license, pretty understandable.

Spotted a Snow Miku plushie in this video about a visit to a Japanese arcade (at 4:19)

In one of their other videos on their channel they shown a room full of arcade prizes they won including several Rin & Len figures. They said they often either trade or give away prizes they won sometimes. If there's an obscure arcade prize you can't find, they might have or know someone who does.

The head of VSinger made a quick mention about bringing Tianyi to new markets near the end of this video (not sure if this is from old footage)
