WE KNOW NOTHING! nonetheless:
So far, a Spanish operatic vocalist and an English screamo vocalist.

Just reading this I had flashbakcs of La Montserrathuh. for some reason i did not even register it as Spanish wen i first listened i realize.... probably because that sort of opera singing i associate with english (or italian) rather than spanish, and was not thinking thatd be the language sung (i find opera style singing to be hard to understand at times too so that doesnt help). which is probably worth noting. hopefully, we will see some improvements through testing and development.
while obviously this is still all speculation, i dont doubt the possibility that Galenaia would have the ability to sing "non-operatic" to some extent mainly because we have already seen operatic vocals who have the ability to do so (depends on how you look at it. Feng Yi tho her opera mode is seperated and Cheng Xiao... well, kind of Cheng Xiao. her accent is very strong.). but like... she IS being advertised as a opera vocal, so thats what shes gonna be, and i think any part of her trying to sing outside of that type will not deviate much from what she already sounds like (perhaps the new tools in vocal modes will give more control over this, at least more so than what would be available in SV1).That's really cool, I'm extremely jealous of all the NAMM visitors.
The biggest reason I'm wondering about 'normal' vocal modes is Galenaia, and the Spanish vocal synth community. I know they're desperate for a new all-rounder voice, and more native data to improve SynthV's Spanish overall. I'm worried Galenaia won't be able to provide those things if she's exclusively operatic.
I wonder if any other companies have Spanish voices down the line? Perhaps ES knows Audiologie has a Spanish pop girl in the works.
