She was originally a vx_beta vocal, and Yamaha announced all VXB vocals would be ported to V6 in July

Vocaloid 6.5 update seems to be coming. It will be showcased at an event in Shibuya on december 7th !
nice news!! I wonder if Yamaha and Crypton are waiting for Vocaloid 6.5 for Miku V6?
Wataru Sasaki (Crypton) made it clear that there were some issues and it was needed extra tuning from Yamaha before the release, so it is possible the version 6.5 might solve those issues..

Interesting fact that some people might find useful : the V5 voicebanks serial that comes with Vocaloid 6 purchases technically can activate vocaloid5 editor as well as Vocaloid 4.5 for Cubase !
This means you technically can still buy vocaloid 4.
I just did the test.
Keep in mind too that cubase AI is included with vocaloid 6 purchases, so all you need is really to find the installer.

i noticed that recently too! i was like 'oh wow! i can still download v5 even though i used the upgrade for v6! i must be the luckiest person EVER!' cos the editor itself was still showing up to download in my yamaha account lol
i think it's a little funny, given that v5 is essentially inside of v6... but also, i guess that's probably why they don't mind just handing 'er out like candy
I'd say 4.5 is probably the most interesting in the package since lots of people prefer way more v4's workflow
It’s nice to hear that you can still access V4.5 when you purchase V6. My understanding is that it’s the V5 engine with the V4 interface, so no V2s.
The system requirements page for V4.5 doesn’t list V2s under supported voicebanks.

I'm excited to hear the new English voicebanks! For me the biggest make-or-break will be if/how V6's quality has improved. One thing that's a bit ambiguous is whether or not XSY will be compatible with any voicebanks post-V4.
it's not really ambiguous here. they do say that it's for vbs up to v4. tho they might bring it for v6 voices in the future. we don't know where their priorities are

They finally caught up on direct PIT, after all this time... good on em lol
Only for AI voices tho lol. V5 voices and below still can't use it.
