I mentioned it in my post, but to reiterate, all VOCALOID:AI voicebanks (meaning V6 voicebanks) will be available for VX-B so long as you have them installed and activated on your computer. Your code for V6 and all of your V6:AI vocals will be the same as your VX-B codes (as in, they're all linked). So it’s coming out to everyone but only for the 6 voicebanks in the video ? Is there any chance of extended support for say Galaco? Or is it like a seperate thing entirely?
GOOD ENDING: they make it compatible with multiple styles of phonemes like maghni plans toFrom the way they've described it, V6 is still the main product and VX-B will be an additional thing like VOCALOCHANGER. I do hope that the technology from VX-B replaces the tech inside V6 though, as it's definitely higher quality with more features. (I want them to keep XSAMPA though)
Correct! It's definitely easier said than done to integrage VXB into V6, but Yamaha's a multimillion dollar company and probably has the most resources available within the vocal synthesizer world; they could definitely do it. I simply want the updated sound quality and more parameters. As much as I'm happy Yamaha is "back in the game" (somewhat) and actively reviving characters or making new ones, the quality of V6 really is just...not good in its current state. You can get it to sound fun with a lot of work, and I'm not asking for the most realism there could be, but at least something on part with past iterations or CeVIO 1.X/CeVIO 2.0.GOOD ENDING: they make it compatible with multiple styles of phonemes like maghni plans to
i'm just so accquainted with arpabet at this point and have it all memorized, but due to not being super good at using lloids back in the day I don't really know ANY Vocaloid Sampa </3 (recently, thanks to tunelab, i HAVE been learning!)
On the topic of if they'll likely be relabelling them all and retraining them, it kind of makes me think that the vxb versions aren't necessarily the same voicebank with a different vocoder, and there's a lot more behind the scenes... basically, two different VBs, hence why V6 and vxb aren't just being integrated.
lol they're finally crawling back to yamahaMIKU?????
