It sounds so much clearer, less noisy and more like Miku! I really like it actually.

miku nt has always sounded "stuffy", i think miku nt2 is an overall improvementIt is too preliminary for us to criticize or to compliment the voicebank. We should listen to real-life tuning from vocaloid producers first.
However based on the demos, I can definitely say that the sounds from the voicebank has improved in terms of the "crispness" (especially Demo Phrase F and Demo Phrase R), but somehow it still sounds a little more "synthetic" or "unhealthy" (sounds like having a running nose or cold) compared to her vocaloid's versions (especially the growl usage of Demo Phrase M sounds not so pleasant to my ears).
Anyway, I am waiting for more (real-life) demos before making final conclusion on whether the voicebank is good or not so good.
I recommend to first check this support page (available both in japanese and english), since it is updated whenever an issue is discovered:just as a FYI. there's no automatic updater so you have to pay attention to the mailing list and update to latest version for up to date bug testing.
that said, how to properly file bug reports with the jp devs? I don't really want to waste their time with poor or outdated reports and poor language skills that makes it harder to reproduce a issue.
Sonicwire support page (select "Technical Support", login with your account and write the message to the developers):- [Added on Oct. 24] Since the parameter responsiveness in "Piapro Studio NT2" is adjusted for better vocal expression, you may not achieve the same results when loading project files from "Piapro Studio NT".
- [Added on Oct. 25] When both the previous "Piapro Studio NT" and the Early Access version "Piapro Studio NT2" are open simultaneously in a DAW project, saving the DAW project may result in "Piapro Studio NT2" not launching the next time the project is opened.
I think they added it back along with the rest of the packaging changes from a while backBtw, I just found out so I'm sharing, it seems like crypton silently added back the Miku V3 bundle to sonicwire !
初音ミク V3 (incl. English)
For a long time only light and vivid were available on sonicwire but we can finally buy the full v3 bundle digitally ! I've waited for it since 2021

Here we list the specifications and reported/known issues for the "HATSUNE MIKU NT (Ver.2)" Early Access version as of November 20, 2024.
[Additions and Changes]
[Resolved Known Issues]
- The synthesis speed has been improved by approximately 2x.
- Automatic update functionality has been added.
*Note 1: Please read the notes before applying the update.
[Other Resolved Issues]
- Issue where the Voice Drive would turn off in the duplicated track when duplicating a track.
- Issue where saving a DAW project with both the previous “Piapro Studio NT” and the Early Access “Piapro Studio NT2” running simultaneously would cause either “Piapro Studio NT2” or “Piapro Studio NT” to fail to launch upon reopening the project.
- Issue where the tempo could not be selected for range selection or deleted using the eraser tool, after loading a MIDI file with tempo information.
- Issue where moving notes with manually adjusted pitch to a “fast-tempo range”, then undoing or moving them back to a “slow-tempo range”, would cause the application to freeze.
- Issue where entering sil / asp / br between closely positioned notes to break automatic connections while “Automatic Consonant Length Adjustment” was enabled in Automatic Control would cause a crash (Temporary Fix).
*Note 2: Please read the notes before applying the update.
■ Display Issues
- Issue where reordering multiple selected automation tracks causes display irregularities.
- Issue where moving audio regions in a “not found” state causes display irregularities.
- On macOS only: Issue where certain characters entered in the file name text box of the audio export window were not visible unless the text box was actively selected.
■ Operational Issues
- Issue where canceling “Apply to Consonant Length” in “Auto Ctrl” after enabling it for notes with manually adjusted consonant lengths would fail to revert the length.
*Note 3: Please read the notes before applying the update.- Issue where manually adjusting consonant lengths in the piano roll would not deselect “Apply to Consonant Length” automatically in “Auto Ctrl.”
- Issue where only notes of the same pitch could not be range-selected under certain zoom levels.
- Issue where vibrato applied via Automatic Control differed slightly between Windows and macOS.
*Note 4: Please read the notes before applying the update.- Issue where directly editing consonant lengths in the piano roll of songs with tempo changes resulted in unintended changes.
- Issue where opening the “Export Audio Files” window after writing automation causes all checkboxes under “Tracks to be Exported:” to be deselected.
[Notes]
The development team will continue to provide updates, add features, and make improvements.
- *Note 1
Due to GarageBand’s specifications, it has been confirmed that enabling the automatic update feature while running “Piapro Studio NT2” as a plugin causes GarageBand to crash. To avoid this, the automatic update feature is disabled when using GarageBand.
[Update Methods for GarageBand Users]
If you use GarageBand, please update using one of the following methods:
1. Download the latest version from the SONICWIRE Support Page.
2. Launch the standalone version of Piapro Studio NT2, check for updates, and use the automatic update feature from the standalone version.
- *Note 2
Temporary measures have been implemented for this issue, but new issues have arisen as a result:
– If sil or asp is inserted between closely positioned notes, and there is an adjacent phrase before them, the pitch line may disappear and the pitch may display incorrectly.
– If a very short br is inserted between closely positioned notes, the pitch line before and after the br may display incorrectly, potentially leading to crashes with further edits.
These issues have newly emerged.
[Workarounds]
To avoid these issues, we recommend the following steps:
1. For configurations where the red pitch line disappears due to sil or asp positioned near adjacent notes:
→ Turn off the snap feature, and adjust the note length to create a slight gap between the sil/asp note and the adjacent note.
2. For configurations where the pitch line displays incorrectly due to a very short br:
→ Delete the short br note to prevent crashes from subsequent operations.
- *Note 3
As part of this fix, the issue where “Apply to Consonant Length” in “Auto Ctrl” would not deselect after manual adjustments on the piano roll has also been resolved. Consequently, when opening projects created with version 0.9.1.0 in the updated Piapro Studio NT2, notes with “Apply to Consonant Length” enabled may have their consonant lengths re-estimated and automatically replaced.
[Workaround]
If you have ongoing projects, please refrain from applying the update until your work is complete. If you must update “Piapro Studio NT2”, we recommend performing the following steps before updating to preserve the consonant lengths in your existing .ppsf song files:
1. Select notes with manually adjusted consonant lengths (be sure to select only the affected notes and not all notes).
2. Open “Note Settings… > Auto Ctrl” and set “Apply to Consonant Length” to OFF.
3. Save the project.
4. Apply the Piapro Studio NT2 update.
- *Note 4
As part of this fix, vibrato settings in .ppsf song files created with the previous version may change slightly when opened in the updated Piapro Studio NT2. To reproduce the previous vibrato settings, manual adjustments may be required. If you have ongoing projects, please consider postponing the update until your work is complete.
Thank you for your continued support.

We have just released the Piapro Studio NT2 Version 0.9.2.2 updater.
This update includes the following feature fixes.
[Resolved Known Issues]
- Issue where changing a vowel note with pitch written to a consonant note and then splitting the note causes a crash.
- Issue where loading a project file with an audio file and VoiceDrive turned ON in Piapro Studio NT2 v.0.9.2.0, and then overwriting the project file, results in .ppsf file corruption, making content recovery impossible.
[Other Resolved Issues]
- Issue where performing an Undo operation after cutting a region and then cutting the region again may cause a crash.
<How to Apply This Update>
Please download and run the updater from the following support page, or perform the update from the [Help] > [Check For Updates…] menu on Piapro Studio NT2 (v0.9.2.0 or later).
