The company behind Futaba Minato have just announced that Futaba will have a Cevio AI & Voisona Talk. It's a crowdfunding and more details will be announced.

Okay, so Gemvox's next voicebank, Jasper for Voisona, has been released and almost no one noticed - including the company itself, who didn't acknowledge him till some time later (not even on their official Discord??), and Voisona, who've been politely ignoring him in favour of 500 Lunon posts. Gemvox also seems to have forgotten who his voice provider is, listing a different person to Voisona's website.
Anyway, here's his demo:
Like Topaz, he doesn't sound too bad, but reviews from users have been very poor.
I'm genuinely baffled that a company this poorly run managed to get deals with every major vocal synth engine.

Gemvox is so comical unintentionally like what do you mean you forgot you released a voicebank??? and also forgot who voiced it I'm dead
How has this company managed to survive long enough to already get two VBs out, especially on mainstream commercial engines?
While I'm sure that's not the case, this really does give off the impression that the vsynth companies gemvox works with are also deeply embarassed of working with them but also do it anyway because the Gemvox CEO is friends with their CEO and they made it everyone else's problem. The fact that the official Voisona account didn't acknowledge them is very weird. Like the Voisona account does promote all their third party releases unlike Dreamtonics that doesn't always do that.
Honestly I think the whole situation is insanely funny. I wonder what Kanru thought when first seeing Topaz's promo art lmao
