Just asking about this again but for the regular physicals (not starter pack).Does anyone know where to find secondhand Yumenokessho physical starter packs? I’ve had no luck.
I found every physical voice (without the editor) except HALO (only found the empty box for her). Where else to search besides JP Mercari and Yahoo Japan?
Oh I guess my previous answer was pretty vague. Most of your luck will be on sites like Mercari and Buyee. Search 夢ノ結唱 for them. Good luck!!Just asking about this again but for the regular physicals (not starter pack).
As it stands, Crypton are more interested in trying to preserve the unique tones of their voicebanks, rather than making them sound more realistic, so SynthV probably isn't on their radar right now. (It doesn't help they're more interested in trying to make Piapro NT succeed, even though people are way more excited for Miku V6).I am loving Synth V. It just sounds so much more real than other software. My only wish is that they do with Hatsune Miku what they did with GUMI, giving her a voicebank. But I'm not sure what that entails with licensing and etc.
Miku won't ever be on Synth V tbh.I am loving Synth V. It just sounds so much more real than other software. My only wish is that they do with Hatsune Miku what they did with GUMI, giving her a voicebank. But I'm not sure what that entails with licensing and etc.
a shame, really. i think making a 'sv plus' vb like they did for yamine renri would work really wellMiku won't ever be on Synth V tbh.
we do have some child voices in Synth V, Lin Lai and Yun Quan. and it seems to be confirmed they were voiced by a minor (the sources on this seem a bit vague, maybe assuming. but these two dont sound like they were voiced by an adult trying to sound like a child imo). though them being Chinese and not advertised or presented the way Oliver or Kaai are (with character designs, mainly) has probably left them out of the mainstream fandom attention.I feel like a big voicetype that hasn't been filled for SynthV yet is that of a genuine child. Vocaloid has two with Oliver and Kaai Yuki, UTAU has SO many, but SynthV doesn't have one yet. I do understand that getting a child's voice might be difficult for legal reasons, especially consent, but I'd still love to see one.
For example, I used to sing in a children's choir, so I have tons of old sheet music that I'd love to make into covers. However, with Oliver being discontinued, Yuki being Japanese only, and UTAU surprisingly lacking voices of this type in English, I really want one for SynthV. It'd be easier to make them sound realistic, and you can have separate vocal modes for choir, soft, sweet, strong, or sad, for some examples.
In addition, Oliver was hugely popular with English fans despite his horribly low quality and Yuki still has a decent niche fanbase, so it's not like there isn't a market for the voice type among fans. And many producers liked Oliver despite the aformentioned quality issues for his unique choral tone, meaning there's a market for professionals out there as well.
There is still the issue of legal concerns with such accurate reproduction and misuse, but I think that a much stricter TOS on content you can use them for would be enough for most people to be discouraged from such use.
Definitely look into the child voices morrysillusion mentioned! Here's a demo of Lin Lai:I feel like a big voicetype that hasn't been filled for SynthV yet is that of a genuine child.
