Bout to drop the bombshell of opinions right now I guess XD I actually kinda like Gumi’s v4 illustrations Native especially cause I like to think she has dentures X3
I never heard people say they didn't like the fact that Len's voice provider is a woman. It's kind of a weird argument, because TONS of anime boys are voiced by women voice actresses. o__0;-It bugs me how people act like Len's vocal is less valuable because it was provided by a woman ( this isn't even coming from some huge Len fan, I like him but there are certainly bigger fans than me ). I think he's a good addition to all the voicebanks out there as he adds more diversity to the voice types that you can choose from. Some people simply like boyish-sounding vocals that were achieved through voice-acting by a person with typically feminine voice and I think it's good we have option for such vocal. He has his own place among other masculine voicebanks that isn't devalued by not being typically masculine. Also if his provider were actually a boy his age updating him would have been an issue
Can we talk about utau too?
-I find Matsudappoiyo very overrated. I don't dislike his voice, I don’t think it’s THAT special although I see the appeal but the strong engine noise in his VBs just turns me off enough to not make me fall in love with his voice. I think his popularity mostly stems from being good quality by 2010-2013 utau standards and then being discontinued in 2014 making people want to own him for the sake of owning him. He’s medicore by today’s standards.
I actually think there's enough of a contingent on the like side, the dislike side, and the neutral side that none of them are particularly unpopularDoes that make liking Len on his own an unpopular opinion, then? Because I adore him. I have a bad habit of defaulting to Len V4x Power when trying to decide on a singer for my covers. I keep having to remind myself that I've spent over $1,000 on Vocaloids, I've gotta use more than one for all of my covers. He's just so much fun to tune!
Wow! You and I have similar opinions! XDI have some...
-I like V5.
-I don’t like Meika Hime, it’s not like I just prefer Mikoto to Hime like most people. I dislike Hime’s voice, she’s like irritating version of Una’s Sugar voicebank.

Admittedly I haven't been paying a lot of attention to V5, is it mostly disliked?I have some...

I like the idea behind it, and I like a lot of the features, but, personally, it's a bit clunky for me. I blame it on being so used to V4 for the most part, but it also has a bad habit of freezing, crashing, and taking ages for basic change to apply. (On my computer, a single parameter adjustment, like tweaking the pitch or dynamics, can take up to half a minute to apply, which makes tuning a time-consuming pain.) But it DOES work for a lot of people, and those it works for have divided opinions about it.Admittedly I haven't been paying a lot of attention to V5, is it mostly disliked?
I thought people thought it was cool but tbf I really haven't heard many people mention it after its release.
I'm actually guilty as charged because I actually did downloaded him when he finally came back alive, but haven't really touched him much since than. I'm more focused on using Vocaloid to be honest. Piapro is much easier to use compare to UTAU for me.-I find Matsudappoi very overrated. Ah, that explains it. My laptop's pretty average in terms of performance. I think it's a little unfair, personally - ramp up the price for the new editor, and then only make it fully-functional on higher-end/more powerful computers, whereas previous versions run just fine on run-of-the-mill computers. I'm really glad it works for you though! It seems like, when it functions as it should, it's a lot of fun to use.Regarding V5, you need really powerful PC for it and I was lucky to own one because I do need to be able to run heavy software for my non-hobby stuff. I experience no crashing or freezing.
Yeah, about that, I would like to ask you: had you watched any videos that contain Gynoid Talk Meika Hime in it?I don’t like Meika Hime, it’s not like I just prefer Mikoto to Hime like most people. I dislike Hime’s voice, she’s like irritating version of Una’s Sugar voicebank.
