I feel like every time I get excited for something CeVIO-related, I end up being disappointed. Part of me wonders if I should stop getting my hopes up and just wait till ONE comes up and then follow CeVIO. But we know nothing of what is happening with ONE or IA, so who knows. This applies to other voicebanks as well that we have not heard of much.
Right now, CeVIO to me feels like a console launching with little to no games, not even a big-hit that everyone has been waiting for, like the Switch with Breath of the Wild, so why get excited for something that is not interesting me?
(Though in CeVIO's case, at least it is available to pre-order, unlike the PS5
)
I think I will still follow Kafu's development, but as for anything else CeVIO, I am not sure. I usually love following vocal synth development too, so I am not sure what it going on with me
For what it's worth, don't be too afraid of learning notation. I'm not an expert by any means, but I think it looks more complicated than it is, and even just memorizing what the handful of different notes mean can be really useful.
