When I first saw FEE I just assumed she was a new Yuzuki Yukari variant from the way she looked. I'm surprised they went with such a similar-looking design.they pointed out too the ressemblance between Fee-chan and characters like UNA and Yukari

Idk why, but I find all of this kinda funny thoughFee had been changed to 18 year old, apparently they deleted the iffy pictures in question and her character info is less sex doll-y and more like.... like maid robot that helps with everyday life/chores? That's how I understood it.
I don't think Fee will be a smash success, but it won't be because of her problematic aspects. Assuming most people don't look into the history of a character before buying them based solely on design or voice, lots of talk synth fans will buy her just on the basis of her being a cute girl, or they're CeVIO fans looking to expand their collection. There's rampant problematic content with the underaged characters that already exist, so much so that you'll have a harder time not running into something bad when you're just innocently looking through a tag. It's a huge problem in this community - they won't care at all about Fee's original concept (or worse, they'd be fans of it).If I were to be honest, they should just cancel her development at this point. She already looks bad by a lot of people, and I don't think that many people would want to buy her bank. Maybe I'm wrong.
Another thing, why CeVIO of all things? I don't hate CevIO, but why them? What screams "R18" to make them choose to create her voicebank on it?
I sometimes keep forgetting that Yukari exist lolI don't think Fee will be a smash success, but it won't be because of her problematic aspects. That being said though... she already looks a lot like Yukari, and I've seen a couple of Japanese tweets point that out too. Why buy/use Fee if Yukari, who is much more popular and almost everyone already owns her, exists? That's really the one thing I can think of that could turn people off of her aside from her original concept. But the reason I don't think she'll be popular is more because the talk synth community already has its favorite characters - Yukari, Akari, Maki, Kotonohas, Kiritan, Una. Just being a cute girl, especially one without a VOICEROID label, isn't enough to cut it anymore.
I don't think CeVIO was chosen just because they felt it was an R-18 synth or fitting for one. The only other commercial TTS out there now is A.I.VOICE (and to a lesser extent Coefont but I feel like people tend to see that as "TTS UTAU but you pay to make your own bank"), and that doesn't have nearly the same kind of brand recognition that CeVIO or especially VOICEROID (which they can't use because that line has been discontinued) have. It's probably just because it's the most popular Japanese TTS out there right now.
Yes, you have to pay to use Coefont as well. I more likened it to UTAU since you can easily create your own relatively quickly without paying thousands for a license to a major company or anything, though I know it wasn't the best comparison ever, ahah.kinda off topic?: Isn't Coefont paid to use as well? because I remember visiting the website and its only free for a month.
Nuh-uh she's getting released in a monthMaybe she is in a very early stage of production![]()
