    Writing something (remix) for Chis-A English. Just the first pass. It's fun!!
    The last time I did this was freshman year of high school.

    I want to submit this for spring vocacolle if I can, but there's probably not enough time with the arrangement, so maybe I can post it in fall.
    Lyrics-wise, I want to make sure there's enough variation in the expression in English... it's easy to fall into patterns of using the same/similar words (or words that are overly simple) to fall into the right syllable patterns as Japanese IME.
    There's a lot of things I want to include or change, but, I think this is a unique way of expressing your love for another song in a different language. It is really hard to do right and I don't expect my result to be the best either.

    Slay, king(? Are you a King, right?)! ChisA is so good, I always see someone in the comment section saying that her voice sucks, but I really love her voice and how she sounds. People are so cruel with my poor ChisA! T^T

    @AddictiveCUL I prefer to be perceived as more of a Person, a Knight or Captain perhaps, but I am afab LOL people are always surprised

    I think her VB's delivery is pretty flat (not musically, emotionally), but it has a certain charm that I like and I think when paid attention to, you can make her really shine.

    Sadly, there's probably no better example of NT struggling than in the latest music clip released for proseka. They brought Hello, Worker into the game, but the quality of Luka's voice really sticks out.
    At least the 3DMV is fantastic.

    To me NT sounds like it was made with Miku in mind. And only Miku. Len does sound pretty good to me too, not necessarily like Len but good. But especially the other female voices all suffer. They all have lost the uniqueness in their voices and definitely sound more.. Miku-ish.

    Admittedly I'm ok with most NT voices....but Luka 😭 I'm just salty cuz I'm desperate for modernization of her V2 voice, I wish they just polished and smoothed out the V2 vb and added EVEC on top and she would've been GOLDEN ( as an UTAU junkie I enjoy the system despite it's clunkyness outside of Piapro and it was part of V4 Luka I liked a lot ).

    She's possibly my fav cryptonloid but I can't, in good faith, recommend her to anyone cuz she's not a friendly vb to use in any of her iterations.

    i've always had a love for space (yes, one of my dreams as kid was being an astronaut, another dream was being like Indiana Jones, I liked those 2 dreams because they somehow connected together) and i'm sure you'll enjoy soooo much your new experience!!! :kokone_lili:

    I checked this because I saw some people online claiming that he was a crypto bro and antivaxxer.
    He likes bitcoin and finance bro stuff on Twitter, but he doesn't promote it to his followers. He also likes a lot of Jurassic World mobage content, so y'know, I'm kind of meh on that. He's not a crypto influencer.
    There's an antivax tweet people said he liked, but I can't find it at all. His tweets seem to be pro-vaccine. He is obviously not a COVID denialist or anything like that.
    I think people might be jumping the gun on this.

    edit: apparently he did like one tweet that can read as anti-vaccine (although it could also come off as anti-big pharma). IDK I was pretty certain everything was being mischaracterized at first, now I'm a bit more uncertain. it's one like out of a lot of opposing actions, I wonder if he'll comment on it and clarify.

    He doesn't openly promote it, but a lot of people understandably have reservations about supporting a product so heavily linked with someone who has opinions like that in the first place.

    I'm honestly mostly annoyed at the people spreading this information but not providing a source, because looking through his likes wasn't what I wanted to spend time doing today orz.

    But for the most part, I think the vocal could be something big or unique for a lot of people, so I'd understand if they didn't want to let this get in the way of that. In the end I'd just like people to be informed about the product they're considering purchasing and being able to make their own decisions with the stuff that's presented.

Just to clarify from my point of view, I'm not trying to advocate that people still buy the product if this makes them uncomfortable, if that's how it came off, but I felt the need to clarify the situation because so much was unclear, like you said. It's completely understandable on an individual basis. I'd be more comfortable with it personally if the VB had a different name from the VP, but alas. The product is The Guy. So there's not much wiggle room there. I 100% agree with everything you said.

    I can see a scenario where this situation is salvageable for me personally, but given Dreamtonics' track record, it's probably not gonna happen. Blah.

    this is totally unrelated to voice synth stuff but I just wanted to share because I'm so excited. I made it to the second stage of an interview process for a major space company!! I'd be working on satellites and radio communications technology. Just needed to vent this out somewhere. So happy

    I gotta be honest, I wasn't expecting the Pinocchio-P and DECO*27 collab to be much good... I was kind of expecting DECO*27's super specific style to occupy too much of it, but it's actually a super cool song. I think Pinocchio-P's lyricism is a big component of it, but yeah I think it generally just ended up working out really well.

    Also, on the single release, there's covers of God-ish and Vampire with the opposite producer's tuning. Vampire even has PinocchioP's backing vocals and use of yukkuri vb. Cute.

    The proseka version of Online Game Addicts Sprechchor is absolutely perfect. The covers usually have the feeling of the characters having fun for the sake of it (which is kind of the point) but this combination is perfect, especially the combined chorus parts. Sometimes they crack the code.

    @mobius017 Yes, despite most of the dev work on NT being done alongside ProSeka for these last two years and continually being used in 'commercial' covers we haven't escaped the nasalness. All of the stuff SEGA/Colorful Palette makes for the game uses NT Miku and the unreleased NT cryptonloids.

    It can definitely be an ick and I think they are 100% aware of this which is why we've seen little in terms of new NT discussion on the outside from Crypton recently. But when it works it works well enough!

    I've heard that Miku NT Beta is a port of V2, but the final product is either a rerecord or a port of a newer bank?

    I think I vaguely remember that they might have had to rerecord a few samples, but I don't recall hearing that they ported a later bank. I could easily have missed something or heard incorrectly, though.

    I composited the image digitally, but the subject is completely traditional art. It's just some colored paper, pencil, and two alcohol markers for the drawing part. To get the 3D effect, I cut up a glue stick to use as standees.

    Then I did some signal processing on the image to create an unsettling overlay and added the text.

    It's gonna be a good year!! I WILL MAKE IT SO!!! :mikoto_lili:
